A Letter from the Pastor
Welcome to The Bridge Community Church!
Thanks for visiting! We are a new church in the Silicon Valley and we hope you check out what God is doing here.
The Bridge started when a group of seventeen people began meeting in our living room to pray, study the Bible, and dream about launching a new church together. Inspired by the vision of Mark 11:17, where Jesus says, my house will be "a home of prayer for all people," we felt called to start a new community that worshipped God and embraced people from all different places and walks of life. We sensed that God was with us when we hosted our very first public service and over 170 people came! Since that time we have witnessed many people give their lives to Jesus, be baptized in His Name, and get connected to authentic community. In the summer of 2009 God continued to show his faithfulness to us by providing the gorgeous Hayes Mansion in San Jose (200 Edenvale Ave.) to be our Sunday home, which is where we still are today.
If you're thinking about visiting sometime, we would love to have you! I believe you will find a very warm and welcoming community where you can get connected. We have a big heart to serve the needs of the Bay Area, especially the displaced and disadvantaged of our community. We firmly believe that God can change anybody's life through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I hope you stop on by some time. We would love to meet you.
Blessings to you,
Pastor Andy Fitzgerald
